For someone who has a black thumb, I can't help but being smug over my garden that keeps on giving this summer. In the five years since I have been in my cottage, I have done nothing differently, except in 2017, I rather aggressively pruned. It suited my mood. And now my garden keeps on surprising me. It is simply lovely.

I walk in Tenterfield Park in the mornings and there are patches of these purple flowers everywhere. It is like little purple floor rugs have been randomly scattered in the bush. Such a pretty time of year.
