Archie and Rissie were absolutely thrilled to receive their badges as the student representative council members for their class. 2017 was a year that was filled with so many challenges for my little family and it just makes my heart burst with hope and happiness that they have had such a good start to the year. Also good to see they can look a lot perkier than they do in the mornings!
Back to school tomorrow and I also have so much work and study to catch up on it is not remotely funny! We have had such a lovely summer holiday. Throughout January we have visited Platypus Hole (fondly referred to as "The Lake") most days. We had to go for one last visit today. I love floating on my back and watching the clouds float by. I love autumn and winter and can't wait for them to arrive, but will miss our daily visits to The Lake.
Summer holidays go by so quickly. Time to start contemplating school, lunchboxes and back to our normal routine. Still time for a few more afternoon swims!
I love these golden mornings. Such a pretty time of the year. Funnily enough though I noticed it is darker when I wake so the days are getting shorter and it was a bit brisk this morning with the temperature gauge reading only 9 degrees. It was bliss! #startthedaywithsomethingbeautiful #mytwinsifollow
I believe I can fly! Rock jumping at Boonoo Boonoo Falls.
After many months of savings and hard work, Archie and Rissie purchased two new family members today along with a hutch, feed and Timothy Hay for their teeth. (There has been much mind-numbing research done as well). Time to introduced Kevin and Rosie to George and Checkers. Archie and Rissie think it is family bonding time. I am not going to sleep tonight for the fear that Kevin and Rosie thought it was some sort of strange pre-dinner ritual.
Being a creature of habit I always take the same route for my morning walk. Archie and Rissie have started taking a few shortcuts then sit and wait for me until I catch up and we go on the next lap. I get the sneaky impression that they think I am keeping them waiting.
