The National Archives' exhibition, 'Shell Shocked: Australia after Armistice' offers another way to reflect on World War I as part of ANZAC Day 2012. This is a Letter from Returned Sailors and Soldiers' Imperial League of Australia regarding their Poppy Day appeal, 1932. The League first sold Armistice Day poppies in 1921, and used proceeds to assist returned soldiers, widows and their children. http://www.naa.gov.au/collection/snapshots/shell-shocked/index.aspx
