What’s the Best Tile Layout For My Bathroom?: Straight or Staggered?
For my bathroom renovation, I finally decided on large slate tiles for the bathroom floor. I found exactly what I was looking for at Lowe’s and didn’t have to go to a tile specialty store. Although not natural slate, these Galvano Charcoal porcelain tiles give the impression of real stone and are only $2.50 a square foot. Now, how to lay them? Does the staggered brick layout look best or would laying them in a grid make the space feel larger?
