This beautiful photo was taken from Mt Noulja from the Arctic Circle in Abisko, Sweden. It shows features the Aurora Sky Station directly in front, Lake Tornetrask and the town of Abisko down below and Lapporten off to the right. The whole scene is wonderfully lit by one of the most amazing auroral displays I've had the opportunity to witness.

I photographed this trio of grey reef sharks, seemingly line up in formation. during a shark feed dive run by the famous Mike Ball Dive Expeditions on Osprey Reef about 200km off the coast of Australia in the coral sea.

Beautiful photo of the shore of Narvik Fjord surrounded by the snow covered peaks of Norway. The photo was taken midday in December when the sun tries to make it above the horizon but never quite makes it.

Beautiful photo taken on the shores of Lake Tornetrask in Abisko, Sweden in early December just as it is about to freeze over for the winter. The small waves kicking up spray on the shore produce beautiful ice formations.

This wonderful photo shows the beautiful early morning light over Lapporten in Sweden otherwise known as the gateway to Lapland. In front of the snow covered peaks some dog sled teams traverse the winter landscape barely lit by a sunrise that won't quite happen.

Lake Tornetrask is situated in Sweden just inside the Arctic Circle near the small town of Abisko. The area has a reputation for being a great spot to view the northern lights. In this photo the lights are present but mostly obscured by cloud but the reflections from the town on the lake which was just starting to freeze for the winter provided some beautiful colors.

This is the critically endangered Hawksbill Sea Turtle, distinguished from other sea turtles by its sharp, curving beak, swimming in the blue waters of the Coral Sea on Australia's Great Barrier Reef.

This photo shows a pair of Humpback Whales taking a breath on the surface in the waters off Surfers Paradise, Australia during their annual migration North. Humpback Whale numbers have increased significantly in recent years and many whale watching boats are now taking advantage of this.
