This group of temari balls was created by Suellen Tatrai.
Temari balls are often mesmerizing. This temari is worked in ten sections using gold thread over a deep blue base. This is the work of temari artist Ginny Thompson. If you'd like to try out this design - Ginny has written up the instructions at http://www.temarikai.com/PatternsPages/C10Pg2/RD06.html
Isn't this just pure perfection? It's the work of Takako Koide. Takako works with her daughter - also a temari artist - to create temari balls and yubinuki (thimbles). Image and information courtesy of http://temaribarb.blogspot.ca/2011/12/meeting-kindred-sisters-in-kanazawa-was.html
