Cultivating Place today (July 14), I'm joined by Debra Prinzing - the woman herself whose gardening, writing, thinking and advocacy led to the books (she's written around 11 at this point!): "The 50-Mile Bouquet" and "Slow Flowers". Debra is a leader and driving force behind a renewed American Grown Flowers market awareness, a resurgence in American flower farming and the Slow Flowers movement. I am thrilled that she joins me in conversation about her work. more: www.mynspr.org.
DIY Berry Picker: This berry picker is made out of PVC pipe. Heat is used to shape the plastic. Two "fingers" at the working end do the picking. The berry then falls through the pipe and lands in a plastic bag tied to the other end.
