Frog Prince ( Short Story )

This one worth sharing... so far I only knew about Grimm brothers story "Cinderella". Interesting cultural post. Creepy but interesting. :)

When Fairy Tales Weren’t For Kids

I would call them "classic" endings as opposed to "true" endings. They are true endings to the original stories, but the true ending of Disney movies are IN those movies.

The Brothers Grimm, Jacob (1785–1863) and Wilhelm Grimm (1786–1859), were German cultural researchers and authors who together specialized in collecting and publishing folklore during the 19th century. They were among the best-known storytellers of folk tales, and popularized stories such as "Cinderella", "The Frog Prince", "Hansel and Gretel", "Rapunzel", "Rumpelstiltskin", and "Snow White". Their first collection of folk tales, Children's and Household Tales was published in 1812.

The Brother's Grimm: Jacob Grimm worked as a librarian in Kasel. Whilst there he and his brother Wilhelm gathered old German folk tales from ordinary people hoping to unite different areas under their shared culture.
