Living for God is not about religion. I live for Him because He is the sole provider of peace on my darkest day, and hope when my world is crashing down around me. Only Jesus could see me at my worst and still love me with an undying, relentless love.
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Thank goodness.
Oh for a pure heart. Sometimes our hearts are so messed up, we need God to come in and "create" a pure one. It's great to pray King David's prayer: "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
