Movie Printables: FREE Use these two printables after you have read the book and then seen the movie version. Great for comparing and contrasting and thinking critically about how the movie was made.

After reading a book most teachers have students watch the movies after. In order to know if your students are truly watching the movie you have them complete this paper and then write a short paper comparing and contrasting it for homework.

One surefire activity to get students involved in a story is comparing the book to the movie! Check out this freebie and get questions to pose to kids.

Great idea for any YA book that has been transformed into a movie such as To Kill a Mockingbird (Harper Lee), The Lightning Thief (Rick Riordan), Speak (Laurie H. Anderson), etc.

Questions for students to respond to during lit circles. I think something like this would keep students focused and give them some kind of structure, while still allowing them to freely discuss the book during their lit circles.
