Cayugas are one of the most docile breeds. They do not fly and tend to stay close to home. I've found them the perfect breed for home.  Their eggs are grey to black and the ducks can be raised for meat. 'Course, we don't eat them. They're too cute.

A Cayuga Duck is a medium-class domesticated duck breed that has been a popular variety in the USA since the century. They are used for egg and meat .
