Coquerel’s Sifaka - Propithecus coquereli  You don’t let me lie if a say that this is one of the most beautiful lemur species, just like Zaboomafoo which is a Coquerel’s Sifaka. The species is Propithecus coquereli (Primates - Indriidae) and are delicate leaf-eaters from the dry northwestern forests of Madagascar. The Malagasy name ‘sifaka’ comes from the distinct call this animal makes as it travels through the trees: “shif-auk.”
