Fruit Bars - For Easter celebration this year I decided to change a familiar fruitcake bars into tropical ones. Instead of dried apricots I used dried tropical fruit mix (pineapple, papaya, mango) with addition of coconut, rum and lemon juice.
Perhaps the most divisive of all christmas and holiday recipes, you either love fruitcake or you hate it. This recipe is hard not to love, as it uses fresh fruits rather than candied fruits to cut down on sugar.
