The very first Faberge egg consists of an egg, golden hen and a ruby crown that was secretly saved in the hen. Unfortunately I failed to find the pic with a crown. A Fabergé egg (Russian: yaytsa faberzhe) is any one of the thousands of jeweled eggs made by the House of Fabergé from 1885 to 1917. Most were miniature eggs that were popular gifts at Easter. It is known about 71 egg created by Faberge, 54 were made for Romanov Royal family.
