“Join photographer Michael Plyler during peak wildflower season in Cedar Breaks National Monument. Learn techniques to maximize your ability to photographically interpret the beauty all around you. We’ll discuss photographing the big vista or the intimate close-up and when to choose one over the other. A macro lens, though not a prerequisite, will be a welcome addition to your lens arsenal.” #CedarBreaks #UtahArts
Cedar Breaks National Monument, just east of Cedar City Utah, is a natural amphitheater much like Bryce Canyon and Red Canyon but it is more highly eroded. The elevation here is over ten thousand feet and many parts of the park are inaccessible during the winter due to snowfall and mountainous roads. #ExploreFiveMore #CedarBreaks
The same forces of nature that shaped Bryce Canyon National Park were at work also in Cedar Breaks National Monument, in southwestern Utah, creating a smaller but even more colorful rocky landscape in the form of a gigantic amphitheater.
