A late century gem and enamel brooch. The pear-shape foil-back garnet, to the split pearl line and green enamel stylised bow surmount. Replacement gems and enamel.
This is a lovely, delicate brooch made from seed pearl beads that are threaded individually using horsehair onto a mother-of-pearl backing which is attached to a gold frame. The round brooch is about inches across. The clasp is marked Excellent condition.
