Church pews are excellent sources of seating for small spaces. Narrow and minimal, church pews know how to pack people in, so they're great for entryways, odd narrow spaces, the living room and round the dining table. I love my church pew!
The hall of Bowood House, with its cantilevered staircase, was converted from a dining room in the Fifties, under the direction of John Fowler. The soft yellow walls are a perfect compliment to the wooden floors.
