Tezcuco Plantation was on the east bank of the Mississippi River about a mile and a half south of Burnside. Stayed in the Tureaud Family until 1950. Had 15 ft. ceilings. The owner was the son of Augustin Dominique Tureaud. His father and Grandfather were both plantation owners.
