6. Jimmie Johnson (1 first-place vote)    2016: 2 | 2015: 2 | 2014: 1    For a reigning seven-time champion, this ranking seems out of sorts. The question for the 41-year old Johnson isn't how many more times he will win, but how many more times he wants to try. Add in 82 victories and Johnson's page in the record books is set, his Hall of Fame induction certain. It’s just a matter of how much more he’d like to add to his body of work. .-- Holly Cain
