Lady Jane was the first women's fashion boutique on London's Carnaby Street. It was opened by Harry Fox and Henry Moss in May1966 and was seen as a counterpart to John Stephen's boutiques.

So much so that in 1966 The Kinks (pictured here in Soho, 1965) wrote 'Dedicated Follower Of Fashion', poking fun at the "Carnebetian army" - the fashion victims who thronged Carnaby Street.
