a century fan. The leaf is painted with cherubs by E. Albert and it has a black lace surround, the lace measures in height from the main leaf. The sticks are tortoiseshell with initials on the guard stick.
a very fine quality 19th century parasol. The cover is made of three rows of silk fringes towards the edge of the cover and the rest of the parasol is covered with Brussels lace. The ivory handle is carved and embellished with gold coloured metal inserted with many turquoise and coral cabochon. The maker is Brigg & Sons, London
An outstanding century whitework and drawnthread work fan. The leaf is decorated with birds butterflies people and a Royal crown, the work is probably the finest Ayrshire work that we have seen - but not yet sure, many apologies for that
