On an unseasonably warm afternoon, author John Feely led a group of several students, faculty, and staff on a tour of the Brookland neighborhood that surrounds Catholic University. Feely, a Brookland resident and CUA alumnus, kicked off the Oct. 3 walking tour in front of the John K. Mullen of Denver Memorial Library on campus before heading into Brookland. The event was part of the “Know Your Neighborhood” series sponsored by CUA Libraries.
On April 26, students at The Catholic University of America celebrated Color Fest, which was based on Holi, a Hindu celebration of color and love. The event featured spring themed crafts and a color "fight" on the Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center Lawn. A bonfire with music and food followed on the Opus Lawn, rekindling a CUA tradition.
