Face37's Bella is the Beyoncé of serif fonts: scandalously curvy and a little over-dressed for the party, but still a class act. Bodacious poster-weight fonts have been popular for a couple years now, but designer Rick Banks balances the extra junk in Bella’s trunk with refined and elegant hairlines, inspired in part by the extreme contrasts of Herb Lubalin’s work in the '70s. Think Nixon-era New York, Eros Magazine, and especially U.

one of my favourite typefaces of the moment. "Bella Typeface" from British designer Rick Banks of Face Gorgeous french style, with a classic yet subtly trendy edge.

The Islands, in a kind of late 70s - early 80s vibe. Love the teals with yellow and the font is nice, too.
