E26002 and E26031 (later 76031) at Guide Bridge on 13th July 1967. E26031 was built at the Metro-Vickers Gorton Works and delivered on 19th June 1952. Withdrawn on 20th July 1981 and cut up at Coopers Metals, Sheffield on 28th April 1984, becoming the last of the class to be cut up, only E26020 survives.

E27005 'Minerva' at Guide Bridge Station on 13th July 1967. Built by Metropolitan Vickers, Gorton Works and delivered on 11th Dec 1954. Withdrawn with the rest on the Class on 5th Oct 1968. The whole 'Class 77' fleet were then sold to Dutch Railways and shipped over in Sept 1969 to be renumbered as 'Class 1506', however E27005 was deemed beyond repair and used for spares being officially cut up at Tilburg in June 1971.

D8572 stands alongside Class 25 D7598 at Bescot Yard on 1st Sept 1969. D8572 was on it's way to Cashmore's for scrap even though only 5 years old. Built by Clayton Equipment Co. Ltd., Hatton, Derby and delivered to Haymarket Depot on 20th Jan 1964. Withdrawn on 28th June 1969 and cut up at Cashmore's, Great Bridge in June 1970. (John Chalcraft)

37175 (ex D6875) and friends at Cardiff Canton on 22nd Feb 1975. Built at the English Electric Vulcan Foundry and delivered on 20th Sept 1963. Named 'WS Salter' on 31st July 2011. Withdrawn on 31st Aug 2006. Preserved as a heritage loco at Bo'ness until transfered to the Colas Rail fleet in 2014.

55005 Doncaster Works. Withdrawn on the 8th February 1981, for no other reason than it was due a classified repair, 55005 (D9005) "THE PRINCE OF WALES'S OWN REGIMENT OF YORKSHIRE" awaits its fate among the detritus of many locomotives at Doncaster Works on Sunday 3rd May 1981.
