In initial consultations for this project, the client offered several obvious conceptualizations – film cans, film reels and either a film projector or camera. All fairly serviceable one supposes, but as the client wanted a mark that was “memorable”, our designers convinced Limelight that a different approach was needed.

Logo design project for Limelight Video Services. Rather than the usual visual metaphors - cameras, film reels, etc - we designed this logo literally.

Before “flat design” became a design trend it was gel effects, spurred on by Apple, with a lot of technology companies following suit. We developed this gel version at the client's request
