German women from Nammering are forced to walk among the corpses of prisoners exhumed from a mass grave.  Though the women are in obvious distress at the sight of the corpses, it is difficult to feel even the slightest pity for them.  Civilians who lived in areas surrounding extermination camps could not plausibly deny the existence of those camps or knowledge of the atrocities committed there.

This was found in the personal album of an Einsatzgruppen soldier. It was labelled on the back “The last Jew of Vinnitsa”. All 28,000 of the Jews living there were killed at the time.
