Gumby Down on the Ground.

Veteran animator Art Clokey created Gumby, the lovable green creature made of clay, for his 1953 short film Gumbasia. Television executives loved the character so much, they granted him his own.

I am against video games. We do not allow these in our house and our kids can't play them at their friends' houses. Outdoor play is the best. Use your imagination, muscles and fight childhood obesity.

Drive-In Reminiscing I saw this picture going around Facebook - does anyone remember these?  Well, as a child of the 60’s and 70’s, I sure do!!  In fact, I’m lucky to live near a place where these are still being used – the Drive-In movie theater.  The antique looking speakers are still in position at one of the few drive-in theaters we have left in Minnesota.

I totally remember the metal skates with the keys that attached to your shoes.

Just like my old adjustable Metal Roller Skates. Remember the song, "I've got a brand new pair of roller skates, you got a brand new key"? My kids asked what the heck keys had to do with skates.
