From fan Mary McCormack:"My latest project using Red Heart yarn & a pattern from Red Heart too. I used my own color combo to complete this blanket for a friend's grandbaby due in a couple of weeks. Love how it came out!!!"

pekeapoomom's I've Got the Blues Corner to Corner Throw

Since this throw will probably go to a man, I didn’t want to add a frilly border. At first, I thought I might not use a border at all. As I kept looking at it though, I thought it needed something.

Ravelry: Spirals of Change pattern by Frank O'Randle

Spirals of Change pattern by Frank O'Randle

This is a four color + 1 spiral pattern all the way out to the border after starting with a small round motif in the border color.

There’s something about ’60s wallpaper; maybe it’s the movement, maybe the colours, but either way, it inspires and led to the creation of this pattern. The design uses basic stitches (sc, dc, tr, and dtr) and is at the beginner level. I crocheted this with medium weight yarn in three colours (yarn A: 400g; yarn B: 300g; and yarn C: 400g).
