Perennial Sage, Salvia 'Madeline' was bred and introduced by Piet Oudolf. This sage has violet-blue flowers with a white lip. It will grow in a range of soil types and is drought tolerant once established.
Foxglove & blue delphinium are shy in the sun. Shade is much better for these delicate flowers. The foxglove can handle a little more heat/sun than delphinium.
The garden in May was lovely, and at the same time, a bit of a disaster. At the front of the house, the white picket fence was taken.
