Sitting Room Pic 2 : The true intension of this room was to evoke the feel of a salon. It is free of electronic media (except for a robot named Alexa that plays music on demand, she's hidden). It's for reading or having cocktail conversations with friends. But if you as our dog Deandra... it's simply her room.
Sitting Room Pic 4 : The art on the walls is mostly prints or originals from one of my favorite artists James Jean famous for the covers of the comic book FABLES. Most of the framing was done by our friend Brittny Teree Smith @ ARKhive studios.
Living Room Pic 2 : Choosing colors for this room was a blast I feel the orange, blue and brown ( rust herringbone, clear sky and dark chocolate respectively ) really make every thing visually exciting. It was a huge accent wall. I think I binged an entire season of Smallville while I painted.
Sitting Room Pic 1 : This is one of those odd narrow rooms that are so common in Brooklyn railroad style apartments. Once again instead of placing anything in the center of the room we opened it up with a few cocktail tables and one large glass top table on opposite sides.
Bedroom/Office Pic 1 : This is the first room I worked on. It's an odd space, shaped like an L. That closet hides the second entrance to the apartment. It's how realtors get away with calling it a two bedroom.
Bedroom/Office Pic 2 : The real trick to making this room feel larger was getting us a platform bed instead of something that is more that 3 feet from the ground. I highly suggest it so small bedrooms.
Foyer : If you can really call it a Foyer, it's very small, but I figured after I wallpapered it, it definitely deserved the title of Foyer. I created it as a surprise for Stephen, it's inspired by the Haunted Mansion at Disney World. All the picture are very clever scans from the original artwork inside the attraction at the park.
Bedroom/Office Pic 3 : One of the best and most affordable finds at IKEA were these giant wardrobes. Not only to they have shelves and bars inside to hang clothes, but they work great to divide the room into two functional spaces.
Office : This is where all my nerdy script writing magic happens. It's a cozy spot filled with my inspiring collections. I mean who can write anything without The Misfits staring down at them. Their songs are better.
