Room 9: Art!: Cityscape Sculptures
Art work inspired by Louise Nevelson. Cabinet door and shelf used for our canvas. Wood scraps and craft sticks using only Elmers glue for assemblage. Painted black and then oil pastels for the finishing touch.
Thanks to Elissa, who sent me her and grader’s Paul Klee Art from my Oil Pastel on Acetate project. I simply love all their rich, shiny color. Congrats to these students at Harold Napper School in Quebec, Canada. Keep on drawing kids!
What to do with all of those leftover crayons? Make a Mosaic Mural! This amazing was done about 25 years ago at Kelli's school. That teacher has since retired, but we think the crayons are glued directly to plywood panels with good old Elmer's Glue.
