Army Spc. Jacob C. Carroll  Died November 13, 2010 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom  20, of Clemmons, N.C.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.; died Nov. 13 in Zhari district, Kandahar province, Afghanistan, when an insurgent suicide bomber detonated a vest bomb and struck his unit.

Army LTC Joseph J. Fenty, 41, of Port Orange, Florida. Died May 5, 2006, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Assigned to 71st Cavalry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum New York. Died of injuries sustained when the rear blades of the CH-47 Chinook helicopter he was in hit a tree, crashed and burned on a mountain cliff during combat operations Mountain Lion east of Abad, Kunar Province, Afghanistan.

Army LTC Joseph J. Fenty, 41, of Port Orange, Florida. Died May 5, 2006, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Assigned to 71st Cavalry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum New York. Died of injuries sustained when the rear blades of the CH-47 Chinook helicopter he was in hit a tree, crashed and burned on a mountain cliff during combat operations Mountain Lion east of Abad, Kunar Province, Afghanistan.

Pvt. 1st Class Ryan J. Larson. 1-5 Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division of Fort Wainwright, Alaska. PFC Larson was 19 years old and from Friendship, Wisconsin. He died on June 15, 2011 when attacked with an IED in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

Died of wounds sustained when hit by enemy sniper small-arms fire while at his observation post in Balad, Salad ad Din Province, Iraq.
