Royal Commemorative Stoneware Teapot Prince Regent 1811 (06/23/2010) sliding lid felspathic stoneware (aka Castleford) teapot with a molded design of the Prince of Wales feathers flanked by the lion (England) and unicorn (Scotland), and surmounted by a Royal Crown. This must have been produced to mark the occasion of the future George IV assumption of the throne as Regent following his father's decline into insanity. The teapot is in very good condition, with restoration.
