Vivianite on Siderite, Huanuni, Dalence Prov., Oruro Dept., Bolivia. I've seen a lot of Vivianites but not like this one. A single isolated large perfect crystal of the finest possible gem green color. The crystal is nearly flawless throughout, with perfect termination and sitting beautifully upright on a nice matrix of dark yellowish Siderite. Vivianite simply does not get better. View 1: Anglesite is one of the most difficult species to get in a fine specimen. it is among the rarest species to find in top collector quality. Basically they were only found in Morocco for a short period of time (other localities exist but the quality is so poor as to not be relevant). Morocco has not produced any Anglesites for nearly 15 years. This Anglesite has the finest possible lemon yellow color and is very bright and highly transparent. Examples like this are impossible to find.
Copper, Phelps Dodge Chino Mine, Grant Co., New Mexico. This Copper is from a unique find in 2001. The crystallization is exceptional, a "freak" of nature so to speak. Every crystal on the piece is sharp, well formed (nearly all are spinel twins) with amazing definition. It is among the finest and most important Copper specimens I know of.
