A handmade Green Tea which has been pan fired rather than steamed like sencha, making it sweeter and much less grassy. It is made by Master Matsumoto in Kumamoto (Japan) who uses no pesticides or fertilisers on his 90 year old tea bushes (his farm sizes only 8 acres) – hence the tea grows “super naturally”. This Japanese green tea has unusual toasted cacao aroma and intense fruity flavour reminiscent of cassis.
"Always remember that, nine times out of ten, you probably aren’t having a full-on nervous breakdown – you just need a cup of tea and a biscuit." - Caitlin Moran especially if that biscuit is a questionable quality, GM, E numbered tesco rainbow biscuit
