Baobab trees are native to Madagascar (it's the country's national tree!), mainland Africa, and Australia. A cluster of "the grandest of all" baobab trees (Adansonia grandidieri) can be found in the Baobab Avenue, near Morondava, in Madagascar.
Photographer Marianne Kjølner snapped this pair of photographs of a bizarre tree in Denmark - West coast, a very windy place were there isn’t much that can grow. So the tree can only grow where it has shelter.

Jabuticaba – The Brazilian Grape Tree. The Jaboticaba is purple-black and looks similar to grapes. They grow directly from the trunk of the Jaboticaba tree. The taste is very sweet, aromatic and has a please grape flavor.
