Melburnian art deco/ gothic commercial monolith, Manchester Unity building located on north west corner of Collins and Swanston Street. Note the flying buttresses on the tower so Gothic influenced

Melbourne's iconic Manchester Unity Building has a wealth of history, representing art, science, culture and commerce.

What a little gem - Mutual House at 263 Flinders Street opposite Flinder Street Station. This building have undergone a loving restoration . Its red brick surface has been sandblasting into the millenium trimmed in whipped sugar cream. Brittania sits boldly on the top most of the facade. When a restoration is done right its a beautiful thing

An impressive restoration : Heritage and Conservation - Melbourne, Victorian & Australian Architecture Topics
