Grandma Green. Yes, another green memory. Even the car was that colour: 1960s sagely, duck-egg-bluey. Dress, car, and I distinctly remember a crimplene-type skirt suit. Sort of faded. Slightly greyed and dirtied. Like the colour of the sea in Queensland on a sultry, cloudy, humid day. Memory duly embedded. And turned into an artwork. The colour that always appears in my mind when I think of her. And leads to all the other memories.
