Old house, Brightwater, Tasman, Nelson, New Zealand
It's an interesting location. Lord Rutherford Road, Brightwater. Now almost, but not quite a suburban area. There are a few buildings and houses to the right, but it's still possible to take a photo that captures the rural location that it once was in. . Lord Rutherford was born very close (within a kilometer) of this location, The house he was born in was demolished in the 1920s, but it's design was almost identical to the house above (Refer picture in Comments section)

Brickendon Estate Tasmania: A convict World Heritage Site in Australia
We recently enjoyed a farm stay at Brickendon Estate in Longford Tasmania, just outside of Launceston. It's a convict World Heritage Site
Ledcourt Homestead, Ledcourt (230km NW of Melbourne), is the oldest pastoral residence in the region. Built 1846-50, prob by J. Carfrae, of sandstone in Colonial Georgian style. With dramatic views to the Grampians, it was sketched by Lt Gov La Trobe, visiting in 1850, and described by Marcus Clarke in 1866 as a "fearfully rocky mountainous spot surrounded by magnificent scenery." Italianate additions made by architect G.C. Inskip in 1875. Remains largely unaltered and in good condition.
