I've been playing around with accordion paper folding for about a year now and thought it was high time that I put something on the site! The technique is really addictive. This project shows how to make a simple candle holder.
Oooh....it's been I while since I last posted. We had a smashing Christmas and new year. Hope you all did too! My computer died just before Christmas and it's taken my hubby and I a while to bring it back to life...which is why it's been a bit quiet.
DIY Geometric Mobile 1. choose your favorite shapes and find free templates. [my favorites: dodecahedron, octahedron, and icosahedron] 2. print the templates on test sheets of cardstock before the real stuff. 3. cut them out and fold on the lines (scoring helps). 4. use regular glue to glue the sides/tabs together. 5. don't forget to stick knotted string or wire in a corner before you finish the gluing. 6. string all your shapes onto something awesome and hang it up!
