Kosciuszko National Park - Buddong Falls
Buddong Falls consists of two sets of falls. The walk to the lower falls is about three kilometres. The upper falls (shown in this image) are about 20 metres high and the lower falls are cascades about 60 metres high. They occur where harder granite meets softer shales and slates. The shales have been worn away by Buddong Creek. I am not sure I captured the intensity & scale of the falls. They are currently in full force with the snow melt. Thredbo River Run Off
Captured this image not long after the previous post. I went on a beautiful walk following the thredbo river, ducking in and out of trees to try and find some new locations. It is a nice reminder of the morning with the freshness in the air and the sound of the rushing water Thanks for looking
