Rescue horse, storm, and rescue cat, max, found their forever home-- and a new best friend
#HappyTails - we recently heard from Harley and Vespa's mum, after they were adopted a couple of weeks ago. "From the moment they arrived home, they were out exploring, playing and making themselves well at home. We were so impressed at how well house trained they were; after showing them where the litter box was they never failed to use it, and they spotted the scratching post and went straight for it for a good stretch and scratch. We are well and truly smitten."
It's love, warts and all. Panda spent many months with us after contracting the Papilloma virus (warts). It was a severe case, and she was cured using a trial drug after we consulted the Animal Allergy and Dermatology Service. Now she is living in luxury with two brothers - one canine and one human. What more could a girl ask for!
Faces only a mother could love? We think this is the CUTEST! Grizzly (left) and Melt (right) happy at home after their mum adopted them years ago from RSPCA.
#HappyTails - we recently heard from Sage's new mum, about how well this little lady is doing in her new home! Adopting a puppy is lots of work, and her family were expecting just this. But to our delight we hear she has been nothing but a dream! She settled in straight away, and has bonded with her new doggie sibling. As her human mum said, they are very happy with 'their new ‘child’ to love'. Thank you to Sage's family for adopting and giving this gorgeous girl a second chance.
An RSPCA team member was driving some animals from Bundaberg to our Brisbane Centre, when he noticed a heavily pregnant cat, who we have named Mimi, began to give birth to three little kittens! They are now in our care at the Brisbane Animal Hospital and doing well. Only hours after they arrived, a wee kitten, who looked about the same age was brought by an RSPCA Qld Inspector. Her mum couldn't be found. This little girl now has a new mum, and three new brothers and sisters. It was meant to…

#HappyTails - thank you so much to the Quinn family for sending us this beautiful picture of ex-RSPCA guest, Scoobie! Check out this little go-getter, adopted in February last year. We hear from his 'mum' that he is adored by the family, and really enjoys paddle boarding with his human sister and 'dad'! Looks like rescue pets are the best :) ♥ happy tails!
#HappyTail - We recently heard from ex-RSPCA guest, Zeus' new mum and dad. Apparently this handsome boy has settled into his furever home beautifully. He loves his daily walks, his new doggie friends at the dog park, and the grandkids! Thank you so much to his family for adopting him, and giving Zeus the second chance he so deserves. ♥ rescue pets!
#HappyTail - We recently heard from Midnight’s new family. After losing their much loved pet last year, they met Midnight at one of our Adoption Centres and bonded with him in a heartbeat. Middy celebrated his first birthday just last month and is enjoying going to doggy day care, playing fetch and tug of war, and socialising with dogs at the park three times his size! Thank you so much to the Anderson family for adopting Midnight, and giving him the second chance he so deserves.
#HappyTail – we recently received a message from Natalie about her cats Cocoa Kisses and Clyde. Clyde has just celebrated his one year adoption anniversary from our Wacol Centre, with Cocoa Kisses adopted from our Springwood Adoption Centre a few years prior. As you can see, they are very happy in their furever home. Thank you so much to Natalie and her family for giving these beauties a second chance! We ♥ rescue pets
#HappyTail – We are delighted that Nelson is settling in well to life on the farm. He loves to ride in the small trailer behind the quad bike when it’s horse feeding time and has lots of space to run and play. Being deaf, he has also been learning doggy sign language. “He certainly has filled our home with lots of fun, laughter and total mayhem. We all love him to bits and he has healed my very broken heart from the loss of my beloved border collie back in June."
A Ending for Charlie the 37 year old galah. He was missing since the of September and was located by our Pet D Tect team on October Charlie's owner is very happy to have her beautiful boy back.
Nibbler basking in happiness after finding love with his new family.
Ruby Shoes was a wee kitten when she was transferred into our care from her local council in the hope that we could find her a home. As one of our longest-term residents, Ruby passed her time lapping up the sun and playing in her outdoor cat enclosure. Finally, after almost two years, she was adopted. She's loving her new home, where it was love at first sight, and she is the 'queen of the house'. #myrspcapet #rspcaqld
