Charonia tritonis (Triton) are one of the few natural predators of Crown-Of-Thorns starfish (Acanthaster planci), which feeds on live coral, destroying the reef. So leave Tritons alone - they're doing a great job!

Lined Chiton (Tonicella lineata) - the anterior end of the animal is to the right. Chitons are small to large marine molluscs with approximately 940 extant and 430 fossil species recognized.
