After the execution of the Clan Chief MacGregor of Glenstrae in 1570, his widow composed and sang this lullaby lament to her child. There exist several versions of this song, more commonly heard as Griogal Cridhe (Beloved Gregor). Here is the english translation of the text, originally in Gàidhlig (scottish gaelic):  Oh hush-a-bye, my little baby Hush, my little baby, hush....
