The theory of Chinese medicine is based on the theories of Yin and Yang. I-Ching (2852b.c.) also known as The Book of Changes is the earliest classic in China. It simply explained the formation of the universe and the relationship of man to the universe. Most, if not all, branches of various knowledge, including traditional Chinese medicine, can be traced back its origin to this Book.
