I was a 'chubbette' as a little girl and HATED going shopping for clothes and hearing those sales ladies point me and mama to the 'chubby' dept!  to me, sounded like she was saying it on a loud speaker...

What young girl wouldn't feel better about herself if she wore Chubbettes? Yes, this was a real clothing line in the and for "bigger" girls. A girl's body Image problems started early.
