Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne
The Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne dates back to 1880. It is UNESCO listed, and one the last surviving 19th century exhibition buildings in the world. The first parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia was held in this building in 1901. It was given "Royal" status in 1984. This photo was taken in early evening sunlight.
