This vintage handwoven Swedish rug has an overall tonal lapis field of vibrant stepped floral motif. Signed by it's original weaver. About the master weaver: Bohusslöjd was a Swedish artisan association . It was formed in 1906 as the handicraft association Konstfliten. A name later changed in the 20th century to Bohusslöjd. The association ran studios, courses and stores in Gothenburg. From 1940 to the end of the 00th century, they had a well-known shop at Kungsportsavenyn.
