Australian Water Tower Art
Not only does Australia have fantastic painted silos, Australia also has over 50 painted water towers as well. Not every country town has a silo, but many have water towers they can enhance to help entice visitors to their towns. All the states are included, with Queensland having more than 25 in the collection so far

New South Wales Silo Art Trail
For us, Australia's New South Wales Silo Art Trail was a wonderful experience and a fantastic opportunity to explore unknown territory. We travelled through towns we had never heard of before and probably would never had visited if it was not for the Australian Silo Art Trail. So please enjoy the story of our journey.
The Mundubbera sewage pump station was painted by artist Annette Green (AKA Rain Hart) in 1997
The Mundubbera pump station in Queensland was painted by 'Rain Hart' in 1997 making it one of the oldest that we have featured on the Australian Silo Art Trail to date. It depicts the meeting of the Boyne, Auburn and Burnett Rivers with lots of native flora and fauna tucked into the scenes as well.
