Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.  What if I can’t cook well?⁣ What if I go off plan?⁣ What if I can’t get special ingredients?  You will never be perfect with your eating or exercise or anything else so let’s all just accept that right now, eh? Forget perfection and focus on progress. I don’t eat perfect all the time – nope! But I eat so much better now than what I did 5, 10 and 20 years ago!

1. Every time you eat a meal with meat, also add a tablespoon of collagen peptides or gelatin to the meal.    2. Have a cup of bone broth with added collagen 20-30min before bed.

Coconut/Almond Crunchies  Combine dry ingredients:   1 cup coconut  2/3 cup almond flour  1/3 cup flaxseed meal  1/3 cup whey powder  1/3 cup almond slivers   Combine and mix into dry ingredients:  1/3 cup coconut oil  1 egg (might try 2 next time)  1 tsp. vanilla  1/3 cup xylitol (important so it clumps)  1 tsp. baking powder  1/4 tsp. salt  1 tsp. cinnamon   Spread out on cookie sheet. Bake at 250 degrees for one hour stirring every 15 minutes.

You will not take it all in at one go, but it will explain the ALL things THM.  The original book is fantastic but it is lengthy. The Plan Book is excellent – all the information in a condensed format.  Trim Healthy Table is a cookbook with a brief rundown of the plan.

Skinny Chocolate extraordinaire! by Heidi Adamson Barton 2/3 c coconut oil, liquid 1/2 c heaping peanut butter 1/4 c heaping cocoa powder 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 1/3 c xylitol 1/4 tsp stevia 1tsp vanilla Blend in blender until smooth, (approx 1 min) Stir in 1/2 c shredded coconut 1/2 c combo of seeds/chopped nuts Fill mini muffins tins or mold and freeze til hard Can add 3/4 c oats to make them taste like no bake cookies. They were yummy!
